Finance Controller (maternity cover), Hilton Garden Inn Bucharest Old Town

We are looking for an experienced finance conroller for a 2 year maternity cover.


Key responsibilities:

 

  • Ensure that Finance department is providing month end closing and all other required management reports
  • Ensure proper Account payable and receivable management
  • Ensure Cash management
  • Prepare Tax declarations and refunds
  • Prepare Annual financial statements
  • Provide necessary support and information for audits
  • Provide reporting and required information to the hotel management company
  • Support Hotel Manager to provide full and accurate forecasting and budgeting proposals
  • Ensure the balance sheets are a fair reflection of the assets and liabilities of the hotels
  • Lead monthly finance update meetings
  • Review the balance sheets, ensure reconciliations are performed
  • Assist Heads of Departments to improve their financial awareness and provide them with relevant financial information for their operations

 

To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, skills and values that follow:

 

  • 2+ years relevant and progressive work experience in Management Accounting
  • Very good knowledge of Romanian legislation
  • Ability to analyze complex financial information from many sources and create reports, forecasts, and projections
  • Knowledge of finance principles and practices
  • Ability to proactively identify and prevent potential problems
  • Problem-solving skills, including ability to effectively address any issue in collaboration with others as appropriate
  • Strong organizational, planning and analytic skills
