We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front Office Manager to oversee all aspects of our front desk operations at the brand-new Hampton by Hilton Venice Isola Nuova. In this pivotal role, you will lead our team in providing exceptional guest service, ensuring smooth check-in and check-out processes, and creating a welcoming atmosphere that exceeds guest expectations. Your leadership will be key in optimizing operations and enhancing overall guest satisfaction. Join us in making every guest`s stay memorable!

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead the front desk team, ensuring high levels of performance, motivation, and professional development.
  • Ensure exceptional guest service by overseeing the check-in and check-out procedures, addressing guest inquiries, and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Manage daily front office operations, including staffing, scheduling, and workflow to maintain efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the front office and other departments, facilitating clear communication to ensure seamless operations.
  • Collaborate with reservations team to optimize room inventory, pricing strategies, and occupancy levels.
  • Provide ongoing training and support for front office team, ensuring they are knowledgeable about hotel policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Monitor and analyze front office performance metrics, implementing improvements as needed to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Address and resolve guest complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Oversee cash handling procedures, ensure accurate billing, and manage the front office budget to meet financial goals.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and safety regulations, maintaining a secure environment for guests and team.

 

Requirements:          

  • Proven experience as a Front Office Manager or similar role withing the hospitality industry
  • Strong understanding of hotel management software’s
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, within a passion for customer service
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Proficiency in English and Italian, additional languages are a plus
