Seasonal (Interim) General Manager, Grand Hotel Gardone

The Grand Hotel Gardone seeks a passionate and experienced General Manager for the 2025 season (March to October). This interim position offers a unique opportunity to lead the hotel team and ensure an exceptional guest experience, with a primary focus on maximizing room revenue and occupancy during this peak period.

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a proven track record in hotel management, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of hotel operations, particularly in rooms management. This role requires a hands-on approach and a commitment to maintaining the hotel's high standards of service and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all hotel operations, focusing on rooms division performance, including revenue management, reservations, front office, and housekeeping.
• Lead and supervise department heads, fostering a positive work environment.
• Manage budgets and forecasts, focusing on room revenue optimization.
• Analyze financial data, identify opportunities, and maximize profitability.
• Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction.
• Address guest concerns promptly and professionally.
• Support sales and marketing activities, focusing on strategies to drive room bookings and occupancy.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Oversee all aspects of hotel operations.

Requirements:

• Proven track record in hotel operations, with 5+ years of leadership experience, preferably as a General Manager or in a similar role, with significant experience in rooms management. Seasonal/interim management experience a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, financial acumen, understanding of hotel operations (especially rooms), analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Passionate, dedicated, results-oriented, proactive, positive attitude, team player.
• Excellent written/oral communication skills in Italian. English and German languages are a plus.
